Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome

Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, commonly called POTS, is a condition in which the heart rate rises excessively after standing and is accompanied by ongoing symptoms of orthostatic intolerance. Diagnosis requires proper clinical assessment and exclusion of other possible causes.
